I'm very fussy about the instructors that work under the Anderby brand. They have to have several key characteristics and, as such, all our instructors are:-
- Patient - Calm - Friendly - Professional - Well mannered
This means that you will enjoy your lessons, learn at a pace that suits you and get excellent value for money. All our instructors have been checked to an enhanced standard by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
I like to think that Anderby is probably the best driving school in Lincolnshire, Humberside and East Yorkshire. We have instructors from Bridlington in the North to Peterborough in the South and you will get an excellent service from us.
I'm really proud of every one of our instructors.

Anderby was established in 1996
We do not ask for lots of money to be paid in advance for lessons (you only need to pay for 5 lessons in advance to get the cheapest hourly rate)
We do not ask you to take the last pupil home (some instructors do this but it's far from ideal for you)
Our instructors are committed to help you pass your test as soon as you are ready
We focus entirely on you. Our instructors do not answer or make phone calls during your lesson
Free Theory and Hazard Perception Test training at our office in Grimsby or, come and visit us at one of our events when we make regular visits throughout the county in our audio-visual exhibition trailer (see our events page for further details)
We offer 1, 1.5 or 2 hour long lessons and a wide variety of intensive courses
Pick up and drop-off points to suit you
Block booking discounts—pay for 5 hours and save £5.00 (£1 per hour)
Pat, Sharon, and Alex are available from 9 until 6 Monday to Friday and 9 to 12 Saturdays to answer any of your queries or to give you advice or chat. All three ladies have a wide and knowledgeable experience within the driver training industry.
